NPO Shirakami Nature School – Hitotsumori Campus
We are the NPO Shirakami Nature School, Hitotsumori Campus. For many years, we have provided environmental education and guided programs for both adults and children through the field of the Shirakami Mountains. However, due to the impact of a linear precipitation band disaster six years ago, access to the Shirakami Mountains has been completely restricted from all surrounding municipalities, and this situation has continued for the past six years. In addition, frequent appearances of Asiatic black bears have made entry even more difficult. As a result, we are facing severe financial hardship.
